1st Week

Its been a week since i've had my SL's put in. Have i noticed anything? Yep. My hair seems a bit thicker and it's itching like crazy. So i sprayed it with some nettle spray to tame the itch but I'm unsure whether to wash it or leave it for another week. Also i'm starting to doubt the Sisterlocks shampoo, I've read so many blogs about it and alot of them seems to be negative, maybe i should invest in a back up just in case. What do you recommend?? Anyway take a look at the pics and see if you notice any differences.

I used the SL shampoo one time and absolutely hated it. It made my hair feel like brillo pad and very dry. I threw it in the trash and have never looked back. My locks are just fine. I understand pushing a product line, but it should be something decent. You could use dish detergent and have better feeling hair.

Why dont you talk to your consultant, remember you are in it for the long haul. Alternatively call the home office in the USA and ask. They are very helpful.

hey! thanks for stopping by ;o) i'm about 9 weeks into my SLs journey used the starter kit shampoo with no excessive drying. i wash my hair about 1-2x/week, so i've already run out of shampoo. because of the negative comments i heard about ordering the SLs shampoo, i opted to try Dreadhead HQ shampoo (ordered online). i've only used it once so far, but it smells and works just like the SLs shampoo. plus, my order came within the week. i also have a bottle of suave clarifying shampoo to compare....others have mentioned using v05 kiwi lime clarifying and fantasia TC (?)
