On The Path TO Newbieism
Bring a comfortable pillow to sit on
Sit on your bum not your tail bone....DO NOT SLOUCH!!
Have a big breakfast to keep you going
Talking helps the time fly by if not...
...Bring a book that you are just starting to read (it'll be finished by the time your hair is!)
Wear comfortable shoes....just trust me on that one!!
Make sure you have someone to give you a good back rub...
...neck rub
...shoulder rub
...wherever else is hurting rub
Take the next day off...you will not believe how exhausting sitting can be
You may not like it at first but give it a day or two and you will LOVE IT!!

Blindness
You know what on Tuesday i decided to take my son to the Natural History and Science Museums and i saw around 3 women with what appears to look like sisterlocks. Then today i decided since its not overly sunny or humid to take my son to the park and lo and behold there was yet another woman with sisterlocks and all of these woman appeared to be in the newbie stage. Then i had to fly to the shops and there was a woman at the bus stop... yes you guessed it sisterlocks and she said she has had them for the last 6 years. I wish my camera phone was working cos them locks were delicious, luscious, thick and devine. The weird thing is i have passed both women (park and bus stop) on numerous occasions and have never taken any notice on the hairstyles they were rocking .... maybe they were being drowned out by the weave parade!! But isn't that strange? ... Here i am thinking that i am getting something relatively new to the U.K and bwoy here i am.... late! Now i don't know what's happening am i suddenly becoming aware of people with locks....Yes. I think that is what having a new hairstyle/lifestyle does, suddenly the blinkers are off and your noticing everything in everybody. Weird!

The Last Day
I am kinda nervous because i do have soft hair and alot of it is quite straight. I just hope that it thickens up and doesn't break

The Mcanns
Now i'm coming of the subject for a minute but i want to ask you the joe public something. Now i know that it must be devasting for these parents to lose their child. A whole year has passed and we don't know if the child is dead or alive HOWEVER don't you feel that there needs to be some sort of prosecution to these parents. All the mothers.... well actually fathers...nah ...all the people with common sense would u really leave your 3year old with a set of twins at 2yrs of age alone in a strange country, strange hotel room and tek yourself and your partner out to dinner??? I can hear the cry HELL NO!! Now personally i feel that they should be charged for neglect. If they were doing their job as responsible parents that child would be safe now.
More to the point if it was a family on a low wage income or on benefits or an ethnic minority we all know not only would they not be getting as much supportive press attention, backing from millionaires and countless amount of media time but there arses would be villified and on remand all now for some sort of child neglect. Ultimately they have paid a dear price for there lack of foresight and no prison sentence would ever feel satisfactory in their eyes but come on..something needs to be done.
